📦 Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning Scope of Work

Our Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning Service provides a Detailed Top-To-Bottom Clean to prepare your home for new beginnings 🎉. Whether you’re handing over the keys or settling into a fresh space, every surface receives the thorough attention it deserves.

Move-in/out services are aimed at ensuring you or the next occupants feel as though no one has ever lived there before. Our professional cleaners will clean your home from top to bottom, leaving it ready for the next occupant, or yourself! 

General Areas (Whole Home)

• Dust and clean all reachable surfaces, including baseboards, trim, vents, and shelves (Max height: using a 2-foot step ladder, while using pole extensions)
• Wipe and disinfect light switches, door frames, and handles
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and all hard-to-reach corners
• Sweep and mop hard floors throughout the home
• Clean interior doors, door frames, and reachable walls
• Wipe inside and outside of closets and shelving
• Clean interior glass, mirrors, and windows where reachable
• Empty and refresh all trash bins

Kitchen

• Clean and disinfect countertops and backsplash
• Wipe interior and exterior of all appliances (refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, range hood, etc.)
• Clean inside and outside of cabinets and drawers
• Scrub and polish sink and faucet
• Wipe and disinfect light switches, outlet covers, and door handles
• Clean interior and exterior of trash bins
• Sweep and mop all floors, including behind and under movable appliances
• Clean and polish any glass, stainless steel, or chrome surfaces

Bathrooms

• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, and fixtures
• Scrub toilets (interior and exterior), tubs, and showers
• Wipe and disinfect cabinet fronts, drawers, and handles
• Polish mirrors, glass doors, and fixtures
• Clean and disinfect light switches and door handles
• Wipe reachable walls, trim, and vents
• Sweep and mop all floors

Bedrooms

• Dust and clean all reachable surfaces, décor, vents, and baseboards
• Clean interior and exterior of closets, shelving, and drawers
• Wipe and disinfect door handles, switches, and trim
• Polish mirrors and glass surfaces
• Vacuum carpets and rugs or mop hard floors
• Check and clean under beds and accessible furniture

Living & Common Areas

• Dust and clean all furniture, fixtures, vents, and décor
• Wipe and disinfect switches, door frames, and handles
• Clean interior windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
• Vacuum or mop all floors, including edges and corners
• Clean and refresh light fixtures and ceiling fan blades within safe reach

Entryways, Hallways & Stairs

• Dust and clean all baseboards, trim, and reachable vents
• Wipe and disinfect doors, door frames, light switches, and handles
• Vacuum or mop all floors, including corners, edges, and stair treads
• Clean handrails, banisters, and spindles
• Wipe reachable walls to remove scuffs or marks
• Clean mirrors, windows, and glass panels where accessible

Laundry / Utility Ares

• Clean and disinfect exterior surfaces of washer and dryer
• Wipe counters, cabinets, and shelving inside and out
• Clean sink and faucet (if applicable)
• Sweep and mop floors, including corners and behind appliances (if safely movable)

Final Touches

• Perform a final walk-through to ensure no detail is missed
• Empty trash and replace liners (if provided by client)
• Leave home clean, sanitized, and ready for occupancy

🛑 Not Included in Standard Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning:

• Tasks requiring a ladder higher than 2 feet or unsafe access (our limits: using a 2-foot step ladder, while using pole extensions)
• Carpet or upholstery shampooing or stain extraction
• Cleaning unfinished basements, attics, or garages
• Wall washing beyond reachable marks
• Window cleaning requiring removal of screens or exterior access
• Exterior cleaning (porches, decks, siding, etc.)
• Heavy lifting or moving large furniture or appliances
• Fireplace or chimney cleaning
• Pest, mold, or biohazard cleanup
• Laundry, dishwashing, or organization services
