Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all checklist, we tailor each service to your home and lifestyle—rotating focus areas as needed to address real-world use, traffic, and wear. The result is a home that stays polished and inviting without unnecessary over-cleaning, wasted time, or disruption.

General Areas (Whole Home)

• Dust all reachable surfaces, including furniture, décor, shelves, vents, and baseboards (using a 2-foot step ladder or less)
• Wipe and disinfect light switches, door handles, and other frequently touched areas
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture as needed
• Sweep and mop all hard floors
• Empty and reline all waste bins
• Straighten and tidy visible areas
• Clean glass surfaces and mirrors
• Lightly dust window sills and frames
• Spot clean interior doors and reachable wall marks

Kitchen

• Clean and disinfect countertops and backsplash
• Wipe exterior surfaces of appliances (refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave, etc.)
• Wipe microwave interior if accessible and safe
• Polish sink and faucet
• Wipe cabinet fronts and handles
• Spot clean walls and switch plates
• Sweep and mop floors
• Empty trash

Bathrooms

• Clean and disinfect sinks, faucets, countertops, and fixtures
• Scrub toilets (interior and exterior), tubs, and showers
• Polish mirrors, glass doors, and fixtures
• Wipe cabinet fronts and handles
• Empty and reline trash bins
• Sweep and mop floors

Bedrooms

• Dust all reachable surfaces, including nightstands, lamps, décor, and headboards
• Make beds (change linens if fresh sets are left out)
• Wipe mirrors and glass surfaces
• Vacuum or mop floors
• Empty trash bins

Living & Common Areas

• Dust and wipe furniture, décor, and electronics
• Fluff and arrange pillows and throws
• Clean glass surfaces and mirrors
• Vacuum or mop floors
• Straighten visible clutter for a tidy appearance

Entryways, Hallways & Stairs

• Sweep, vacuum, and mop as applicable
• Wipe handrails, door frames, and light switches
• Dust furniture, décor, and baseboards
• Clean glass panels and mirrors where reachable

Laundry Room

• Wipe exterior surfaces of washer and dryer
• Clean and disinfect counters, sink, and faucet (if applicable)
• Wipe cabinet fronts and handles
• Sweep and mop floors
• Empty trash

🛑 Routine Maintenance Cleaning — Not Included In Standard Home Cleaning 

The following tasks are not included in our Routine Maintenance Cleaning service. These items require additional time, equipment, or safety considerations and are handled during scheduled Deep Cleaning or specialty services.

• Tasks requiring a ladder higher than 2 feet (with use of extension poles) or any unsafe reach (e.g., ceiling fans or light fixtures over stairwells)
• Cleaning inside appliances (e.g., inside ovens, refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers, or washing machines)
• Washing walls, ceilings, or baseboards in their entirety
• Moving large or heavy furniture or appliances
• Detailed blind, vent, or baseboard cleaning
• Grout or tile scrubbing beyond surface wiping
• Carpet or upholstery shampooing
• Window washing (interior or exterior beyond reach)
• Garage, basement, or unfinished space cleaning
• Organizing, decluttering, or laundry services
• Tasks requiring a ladder higher than 2 feet or any unsafe reach (e.g., ceiling fans or light fixtures over stairwells)
• Washing or removing high window treatments, curtains, or blinds that require disassembly
• Carpet or upholstery shampooing, steaming, or stain extraction
• Cleaning unfinished basements, attics, or garages
• Exterior cleaning (decks, patios, siding, outdoor furniture, etc.)
• Heavy lifting or moving large furniture or appliances
• Wall washing that requires ladders or extensive scrubbing of painted surfaces
• Pest or biohazard cleanup
• Fireplace or chimney cleaning
• Laundry, dishwashing, or organizing services
